DD is sleeping, we are not. We found activity on her phone indicating problematic behaviors and expressed thoughts, AGAIN, after having just made it very clear why certain things are not ok to be doing and she agreed.
My latest confusion is why she tells people "I cut my arms open, and now I feel better" when she did neither.
Or threatened it to me via text "Im cutting my arms open" when she wasnt. She texted me from the other room so I went right over.
Anyway no point in giving partial details to lead to questions I cant answer now. Too exhausted.
The years of therapy then meds and then suicide attempt and inpatient and PHP and now new therapist she loves. She has even confronted significant amount of issues, BUT she has a screen addiction and she doesnt see it. We have gone just about cold turkey and left her with only her phone with no data plan only the ability to text and she went straight to sex talk with a kid (verified kid) when explicitly told to stop this. So now the phone will get taken away.
And she will melt down. And likely she will make suicidal threats since that is what she does now anyway. Each time she does its like OK, lets go to the ER and she pulls it in. She won't be able to pull it in when she confronts the addiction. I mean I guess anything is possible, but I seriously doubt it.
NO end in sight. Progress and setbacks while she possibly just is getting sicker anyway.
Heartbroken.
