Assuming OP is talking "house spiders" that look like tiny brown versions of the black widow, but are not harmful to humans. They have a web similar to the widow and find a corner and live there for generations if there's adequate insects.

Killing spiders is bad luck also.

I'm also terrified of them. A pesticide company can absolutely help. We have pesticide co grade spray that my husband sprays outside around the house and that helps, but the pesticide company is best.

If so, those are harmless. I just vacuum them.

We had this problem in our former house. One weekend we bought several tubes of expanding foam/caulk and filled in every crack and opening we could find. It worked, no more spiders!

DIATOMACEOUS EARTH. non toxic and kills everything. I’d do it frequently for a couple weeks the treat monthly.

It’s very safe but you don’t want to inhale it

We have a spider problem. We have a wooded lot with mature trees close to the house.

We have an exterminator on contract who comes quarterly. It’s not a perfect solution but it helps a lot.

Our home has insane amount of spiders in every corner. I clean them and in two days, it again looks like its a haunted house.

I have a toddler too so Im hesitant to use sth aggressive. Any suggestions?
