A small city/town in the South of France like Avignon or Arles

Prague would be far down on my list - love the city, hate the tourist crowds

I loved Buenos Aires. I’m hankering to travel though southern Italy and Andalusia as well so that’s what. I’d do…. It’s far but Melbourne and Sydney are wonderful cities to wander in as well and the weather is great then.

Florence is great…one of my favorite cities. Domestically, I always love NYC, so much to do and so easy to get to.

Are all great if you don’t speak Spanish?

My husband is taking the kids in November back to his country of birth and I got a pass from having to join. Instead I am going to enjoy a much needed, restful solo trip. I could use suggestions, though! My favorite city is Paris but I’ve been there so many times I’d like to try somewhere new…. But same vibe where I can wander around a city, enjoy amazing food, cafes, and shopping. A place where I can get by on English without too much trouble. Easy day trips to the countryside of small villages. I’ve also spent a lot of time in London so that’s out, too. Open to suggestions as long as total travel time from DC <18 hours.
