At a game yesterday (ECNLRL) I witnessed a parent literally attempting to coach/talk to his boy the entire game. When the kid was subbed, said parent demands the kids attention (mind you, kids across the field) just so he can have him drink his sports drink. The kid responded to him with some visual signs and said he did not have it with him. So this parent walks over to meet him half way so his incredible kid can recover with a sports drink (even though he had his water). Mind you this is probably an extreme example, but some parents are just FULL of themselves and think their kid is the next MESSI. Usually parents act this way with their first born. I can pretty much guarantee this kid will NOT be a professional player.
I don't know. Some harpy mom was screaming at her son the entire ECNL game, pointing out his mistakes and screaming at him. Insane. This is why I usually sit far away or in my car (if there is a view of the field). Parents annoy the fKK out of me.
