Columba, Stanford and Northwestern were on the list. What’s your excuse now?

No Harvard, Princeton, Yale or Stanford in last 12 years according to their website list. No free lunch OP. If student does not go to a challenging HS, they will not get into a top college. Holy Child is fine..just not great.

Because this school is among the other schools we are considering for our middle school daughter and I have been following. Probably won't go unless she doesn't have any other options though. I posted earlier about a friend's daughter who was top of class and couldn't even get into her first choice, non ivy school. I don't think I have ever seen an ivy among the matriculations for that school. Just trying to help the OP, who said she wants her kid to go to a "top school."

I don’t recommend getting a lot of insight here.

Which ivies? I have been following the matriculations from that school for a number of years, and it is not even close. Here's this year's.

The website isn't really clear about that.

I saw this - do girls actually take advantage of enrolling at Marymout?

Our goal is being prepared for college at a top school.

It’s a small school. Your daughter may not be getting much challenge if majority of students aren’t at her level. I know a girl a few years ago who was valedictorian and didn’t get into her first choice college.

We have a very academic daughter (great grades and standardized test scores). We like the fun/joy aspect of the school and the idea of not being in a pressure cooker environment. We know she would likely get into more challenging schools but wanted to know do you think she would be challenged at Holy Child? I’ve searched older threads and the most recent really long one - but am looking for a more pointed answer on this specific issue. I don’t care if most of many of the girls aren’t the best and the brightest but if you are that type of kid, can the school meet you there?

Thanks.
