If you post in a way in which you are identified, you can say almost anything you want. The issue is that if an anonymous poster bashes a school, the school will almost invariably contact me and claim the post is false and posted by either a disgruntled former employee or parent or a competitor. Because the user is anonymous, really neither they nor I can really be sure who the poster might be. If they decide to initiate legal action, I get dragged into it. But, if you you are identifiable, they can take legal action against you without involving me. Of course, if what you say is true, their legal action will likely fail so they might not pursue it to begin with.

Thanks for your reply. So it sounds like you don't want reviews either positive or negative, then? While my review was negative, it was 100% factual and contained information that would be important to know for parents considering the school. I see the school in question being touted for ADHD, for example, and our experience there directly contradicts what people seem to think about the place. The fact that they are willing to weaponize law enforcement against parents they don't have smooth relations with is also something I would have liked to know before we enrolled there. I am not motivated by a vendetta, rather the opposite. A vendetta was carried out on us, and I would like to warn people away so it doesn't happen to them.

Can someone point me to the guidelines on posting school reviews? I've had a couple of posts deleted, and would like to know how it is determined if something is 'inappropriate'. Is only positive feedback allowed here? Thanks.
