I worked at Altar'd State, and I agree with PP that Francesca's has very similar stuff. There is a Francesca's at Tysons.

I struggle to help her with other in-between looks. Nice brunch/lunch. Some occasions when we are traveling. She’s a senior who lives in jeans and tshirts. She’s willing to dress up more when needed, but she feels lost.

This sounds like us. Everything either looks like you’re going to the club or too boring/mom fits.

Mine has a knit skirt from Lands End that is navy blue, and she wears that with ballet flats, a layering tee shirt, and a colored cardigan. Very versatile.

H&M has cute dresses that won’t break the bank. We also get from Gap and Old Navy.

Nordstrom, usually. Sometimes Abercrombie/Abercrombie kids. They have cute dresses, rompers, smocked tops, etc.

Where do you get nicer outfits for girls? My daughter will need to go to some functions where she can’t wear jeans/shorts but it’s not like homecoming formal. Think nicer dinners out with restaurants with dress codes. In summer we can get away with sundresses, but heading in the fall and winter. It’s been hard to find things that are age-appropriate for a 14/15-year-old. Thank you!
