I recently needed to find a new cleaner and git quotes from 4 different individuals/companies. It was split between bringing their own and using ours.

Just as them. If you're providing the materials, don't make it too complicated.

Ask what they need. Mine used to bring a vacuum. I prefer they use mine. Now they don’t have to drag theirs here. They supply all else.

My cleaning uses our paper towels instead of rags. I think she uses our multipurpose cleaner but brings her own bleach and floor cleaner since we don’t buy them. I know she uses our vacuum because I asked her to. And we’re usually home when she arrives, and I don’t see her bring her own. As long as yours is decent, why would she want to lug her own into your house? No I don’t have cameras in the home. I was referred to her by someone in a mom group and luckily she’s been trustworthy.

If you provide any of your own supplies:

What do you recommend providing? I"m thinking my own vacuum and rags. Does it make sense to have two different colors of rags (bathroom and general/kitchen), or do I need more categories? Did you have any luck having them use any of your own cleaning sprays and solutions? I have allergies and sensitivities, which is why I want to use my own stuff.

And how do you know they actually use your vacuum, for example, instead of just using theirs? Do you have indoor cameras?
