Again, this is recreational soccer. Having to miss a game or two due to potential conflicts with schedules of other kids comes with the territory of parenting. Sometimes the parents split up on days with direct conflicts. It's manageable IMO.
You missed the first part about not knowing when or where practices are. I agree it's NBD to miss a game or two, but with 3 kids I'm not registering for something without knowing when and where my kid needs to be to participate.
