Subject: I am thinking about divorcing a Trump supporter
Could be a troll, but it is an appropriate warning for those who are making politics the main thing in their lives, instead of family or spouse or kids or even their job. Get some non political hobbies people.

I would not move with the kids, he can move by himself if he wants to.
Honestly, if he doesn't wise up in the next few months, I would start preparing for divorce. It's one thing to support a particular political party, but it's unhealthy to make it your whole personality. Not a good example for your kids, and doesn't teach them to be critical thinkers.
I would not move to live near a bunch of extreme right wingers or extreme left wingers.

now - with trump's indictments? he is off the deep end with conspiracy theories (we are not on social media. he gets his info from YouTube). and I really cannot tolerate it.
he wants to move close to his parents who are flag waving trumpers. like if they weren't so old they probably would've participated in J6.
I just can't do it anymore. and I don't want our children around such fear mongering, race hating bigots.
The only solution to that last problem is to divorce him and grant him 100% custody.
That's be brave, and prove how much you care about your kids.

If you divorce him, would he get partial custody? If he does, your kids will not only still be around " fear mongering, race hating bigots. ", but you won't be there to intercept those views, either.

Does he get angry? Verbally abusive? Document, document, document, and make the case for getting sole custody.

If your spouse is dumb enough to still support any Republican or Democratic politician after what those parties have done to our country in recent decades, you should divorce them. Enough is truly enough.

I wanted my children to grow up to be compassionate critical thinkers. They are now young adults and I’m proud of them.
There is so much off the wall crazy on YouTube and no way to report it. All I want from YouTube is tutorials on how to fix my sink.
