This is going to sound insane. Is your waistband a little tight?

Do you have a cat or dog? I find getting up and sitting with my dog resets my brain a little.

My guess is not enough blood is getting to your brain when you sit for long periods, and anxiety happens. The movement others suggested should help.

As fall approaches, better eather for more walk breaks.

Also, your desk area may be getting extra hot from computer.

This is great advice. Whenever I was having a stressful day at work in the office, I'd go take a lap around my building (indoors) or go grab a Starbucks a block away. Now that I am mostly WFH, I don't get out enough. My goal is to start doing a lap or two around the neighborhood (10 minutes to a lap) when I start to feel the stress coming on.

I don’t have this issue, but if I were you, I’d try the Pomodoro method and make sure you were out of your chair for all your breaks

I notice that after prolonged computer use, I feel anxious and sometimes really "flighty".

What do you do to combat these symptoms?
