Yes, I take most everything here as anecdotal. Sometimes you can tell when a poster has IRL direct experience. Good luck.

The posts in this thread are accurate.

If you fit in, you won't be disappointed. Beautiful campus. If student has a car, it's interesting to just drive in any direction to get away for a bit.

Students come from families that are comfortable with respect to financial matters.

Seems a bi like a mating ground for folks who want their kids to marry well--not SMU well--but financially comfortable well.

Suggest you ask around IRL to get more informed opinions. Certain colleges are hated on dcum and this seems to be one of them.

The one I know is a party girl, A, B, sometimes C student from an elite private.

Slightly dull upper-middle class kids.

wealthy average white kids

good pipeline to back office jobs on wall street

What type of kid is happy there? What are the academic peers? Career prospects?
