Nope, put it right out of your mind.

+1. But I will say I find it really uncomfortable. Gift-giving is so engrained.

+1

No gifts = No gifts

Don't even give it another thought.

I just do a card. No gifts means parents don’t want gifts. I think the people who bring them are rude.

I had a similar experience, and I bring gifts to a no gifts party. The parents will deal.

Let them donate it or throw it in the trash.

If you feel terrible, then yes. Otherwise, no. They can always donate the unwanted gift then its a win/win.

I don’t think you should feel bad at all.

Thank you for not bringing more stuff for my kid. As a no gift party mom, i appreciate it. We graciously accept gifts from those that bring them, but they are 100% not necessary and we regift/donate most non consumable things.

We usually take a card and maybe put some stickers, erasers, or a keychain in the envelope.

The parents appreciate it so much when you don’t bring a gift!

Nope. If the invite says no gifts don't worry about it.

The invitation requested no gifts please and I did just that. DS showed up without an actual gift. Other guests arrived with gifts. Maybe 2 people that I noticed actually did not bring a gift.

In the future, if it says no gifts, do I need to bring a gift?
