My friend - very good looking, good career, good income, condo, family of origin is functional/intact/rich/connected and has siblings who are rich/connected/helpful/generous.

Her DH is ok looking, has a mediocre career, makes less money than my friend, comes from a broken family, no siblings, does not have property, family is MC.

Anyone can be a catch for their person at any age.

That being said, according to common standards for a man you yourself would see as a catch, probably a 36 year old woman has to have good health, good temper, good social skills, good looks, good education, well paying job, good credit, good savings, no debt, no criminal record, no addiction, no dependents, compatible family, no kids or crazy ex.

I think men who want kids may still be in the game for a few years. Several of my friends had kids around 40 with men being significantly older.
