Kids have college friends visit over breaks, they stay over. If your house is closest to kids go out with their friends, they may crash there. They may just hang out so late that they end up falling asleep at a friend's house

I’m sure they do. We didn’t necessarily do sleepovers but would go out and everyone would end sleeping over at someone’s house.

I mean not as much because they do not live at home much do the year but sure, my kids have had friends stay over, mostly when they were visiting from outside the area.

My kids too. They are in college and 21+. If their friends are crashing at our place, I have no problem. Mainly because we have the infrastructure and space for every one to have their privacy and spend the night and morning in comfort. Also, I do not want anyone's kid to be driving home drunk, tired or sleepy.

Not necessarily.

Both my kids went to UMD (instate) for undergrad. They have many college friends who are working in DMV or they visit their parents during the holidays. My kids organize a number of get-togethers for their school and college friends at our place during holidays or other events or even if any friend is visiting the area. we have a lot of space in the house and inevitably they all end up sleeping over.

Once in a while my college friends would come home with me, to go to an event or celebrate a birthday or something. We didn't have sleepovers just to have sleepovers.

When I was 18, friends crashed at mine all the time. Especially if they had a drink(different drinking age in UK) We didn't call it a sleepover though! My parents were pretty relaxed as long as we didn't make too much noise!

My now adult kids still have sleepovers with friends. I think it'll stop when they move in with a significant other. My DD has a one bedroom apartment in NYC - she had three friends come visit and one slept in bed with her, one on the couch and one on an air mattress.
