Update: got the part (glass) from the dealership for $168. Dealership quoted me $175/hr x 2-3 hrs for labor. Mobile glass guy quoted me $80 for the whole job. Ok to use the mobile glass guy?

What's your deductible? A lot of times for comprehensive it is $500, so that definitely makes it not worth it.

What’s your deductible? Ours is $500 so I probably wouldn’t report it.

I’d also get multiple estimates—window installation prices can vary widely.

I would not report. To me it would not be worth an increase. Our family threshold to report is $2000.

Semiannual Geico insurance on my 2017 VW is $700, so just $1400/year. My vehicle was vandalized and they broke a rear passenger side window. If the estimate to fix is $570, is it worth reporting to insurance or will reporting it cause my premium to increase?
