Op here. Now, after you mention this, I see there is a sentence says hat kid will get a treat or something if they complete it. So, this means it is "optional"?

Should he expect to have daily or weekly homework as a second grader? And, the email specificiallly say they don't allow change of classroom request and classroom sneak peak is next Friday for an hour. We have plan already for this friday, should we change plan to go meet the classroom/teacher/classmates?
