This happened to me. They did assess the late fee even though the ticket wasn’t showing up. Total scam by the county.

Subject: Montgomery County handwritten parking violation not in the system
I received a parking violation ticket for $60 that the lady writing handed to me directly since she was just finishing it up when I walked back to my car.
It is nearly 15 days since then, but
I am not able to pay it online since this officer has not handed her hand written violations to the county. When I put the parking violation ticket number in nothing comes up.
After 15 days I am supposed to get charged a $25 late fee. Anyone had experience with this? Should I assume they will waive the late fee when they realize they have not put it into the system before 15 days elapsed?
