We used Reproductive Associates of Delaware. Looks like they are now part of the CCRM system. At the time (2017) their package pricing was more favorable than local places like Shady Grove so we went with fresh eggs from the donor we chose. Don’t recall all the specifics of the package but it was 29k. Ended up with 4 good embryos (3 girls and 1 boy) and PGS testing was included.

We were successful on the first attempt and now have a beautiful 5 year old girl. What was also amazing is that my wife, who was 48 at the time she gave birth, had all sorts of medical issues (type 1 diabetic-well controlled and some other autoimmune stuff). If she can do it with all her medical issues, anyone can.

Makes me sad that we have 2 female embryos and 1 male embryo in storage. Wish we could donate them to someone that is also struggling with infertility.

You could look into Spain or the clinics in Prague as well. Zlin is just so easy from a practical perspective you don’t have to plan/book anything outside the clinic. Other spots in EU may also offer this but I’m not familiar with them.

I would look at going to Zlin in Europe. Donor egg IVF is 5,600 euros with a 2 blastocyst guarantee. They have airport transfer, attached hotel, meals… everything under one roof. Decided due to age (43) to go this route. I read about the shared risk program at Shady Grove and that sounds intriguing. Which DC area clinic is best in terms of egg donor choice and success rates? What fee range should we expect?

We initiated the IVF process with CCRM but never did a cycle due to worrying about risking too much money on something with a low chance of working due to my age. I don’t know where to begin and want to make smart decisions given that we do not have loads of money to continuously throw at this.
