I am looking to join a class and am trying to fit it into my pre-existing schedule so it must be on Thursdays mid-day. Ideally, it would meet in Rockville, Bethesda, Kensington, or Gatihersburg. I'm open minded about the actual activity but prefer strength training that is low pressure or for beginners.
I'm open to dance (not Zumba, though), pilates on the mat, or some combination of activities. I need to build strength, flexibility, and my core needs so much help. I have other activities I will do 2-3 other days of the week but would be open to do this new activity 2x/ week if that is recommended. I have tried OTF and didn't like it--too noisy and frenetic. I'd do a stand alone class at a studio or even a Rec class but want to avoid a gym membership.
