But, WHY do they take so long? Is it last minute registrations? Central office holding on to school enrollment too long? Staffing issues? July vacations?
In APS The counselors that work on schedules are 10 month employees, they come back a bit earlier than teachers to work on the master schedule. It doesn’t really make sense to work on it very far in advance because enrollment fluctuates a lot in summer
