The big difference is the danger of alcholism.
Coffee addiction isn't explicitly hamrful to others.

That sounds fun. I'm a woman and would LOVE a legit dive bar to stop in at.
Anonymous wrote:Would this bother you? I saw these random $5-7 charges on our Amex statement at the most random bars. Husband said he sometimes gets the itch for one light beer and just likes to decompress. He works at various hospitals and says he just stop in places where he is sure he won’t know anyone for a quick “one and done” beer. He emphasized it is not mixed drinks, which could have 1-3 shots in it depending on the bartender, so drinking and driving isn’t an issue. It is sort of funny because he is not a big drinker at all. But it still seems weird to me.

This wouldn’t bother me, because I am similar to your husband in that sometimes I like to go to random places to decompress.

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, he needs to have his one beer at home, not in a “dive.”
