OP, I was a solidcore regular pre-pandemic and picked it back up a few months ago.

Yes, different instructors absolutely have different styles. I've never met any with a "yogic" vibe, but some are more chill (less intense?) than others. Some of them keep the music fairly quiet. There's not as much variety in instructors as there is with Peloton - in part because the classes are mostly the same - but they're not all the same.

If you list the location(s) you're considering, people might be able to give more specific coach feedback.

Thanks for feedback, that's a shame about the loud music. Peloton and Soulcycle have instructors with different styles of music/ presentation so was hoping solid core did as well. Oh well.

It's a good workout in a close location to my job. Maybe I'll try the earplug route.

I was a regular prepandemic but have not been back since. It was very loud popular music, and don't ever remember a "yogic" vibe. (i was had to wear earplugs). Though there is variation among coaches, it all includes speaking loudly into a microphone.

I took one class and was screamed at over loud music. So that's two!

I took a class today. It was a good workout. Not crazy about the music and the instructor screaming into the microphone. Do different instructors have different styles (i.e do some play more mellow music, or have a more "yogic' vibe), or is it all the same?
