To me it just shows how mediocre the current music scene is that people are willing to pay so much fir a Taylor Swift concert.

Truly depressing!

Her prices are in line with other big headliners. I just checked Beyoncé prices and they are in line with or more expensive than Taylor.

The fact that she gave away millions in bonuses shows she’s not in it for the money.

Taylor could charge much more because demand is almost unlimited. She could charge thousands of dollars a ticket and make this an event just for global millionaires and she would still sell out. She’s not even close to maxing out the market.

The braggy Eras Tour posts are vomit inducing.

This is ridiculous

Nobody is forced aboard the Taylor Swift hype-train. I assure you, the vast majority of people in the world do not care if you went or not.

To be fair, decent seats at any headliner musician’s concert have become outrageously expensive with VIP packages and the like pricing out their average fans.

She will play in the US in 2024 — in a handful of cities.

And I thought classical music tickets were expensive.

Yes. Taylor saves money by skipping some cities and then playing several nights in the cities she does choose.

The travel costs more for the audience and, of course, there more pollution due to thousands of people taking cars and planes to reach the performance.

OTOH she is good for the local economy and tourism of those cities.

I hate that brands are buying up big blocks of tickets to invite influencers that don’t even like Taylor.

Agree so I talk with my wallet by not buying her tickets when I can go to 6 other concerts instead.

With tickets being impossible to purchase the only way one can attend the concert is buy paying the exorbitant resale prices and/or flying to another location.
