just installed 30 ft x 30 ft for 16K, higher end product from ForeverLawn. You can get the local rep/installer from the website:
https://www.foreverlawn.com

Also priced it with SYNLawn and it came the same price. Learned that the nicer looking/performing stuff (15 years warranty on the surface) goes for about $18 per sf installed and the cheaper turf (typically 8 year warranty) will bring it down some but not much since a lot of the cost is in the sub-surface prep material and labor. Good luck!

research how many more sports injuries are caused by turf over grass. devastating injuries - but cleats may be a contributing factor

We did 2700 sqft, all in around $6/sqft. Probably not as fancy as the above pp - it goes with the grade of the land we have so it isn’t perfectly flat, but it works for a small training space and lots of regular play area. It is 8 years old and has aged well - there are some spots were we took trees out and the stumps were ground out but they have caused some settling.

We have no regrets other than wishing the space was wider (it is long and thin ~ 25ft wide). The kids use it all the time for play space and it’s so nice to not have to fertilize/water/mow, etc and they can play in any weather.

Infill is sand, not the rubber stuff. Comfortable to walk on barefoot.

This is helpful! Who did you use?

I had a friend to a small pitch professionally (think 5v5 with lights etc) and it was around 30k, I believe. But it comes with a warranty from the company for maintenance and repairs.

The grass in our yard is basically mostly dead with never any chance to grow back because my kids play soccer there everyday through all seasons. It turns into a muddy mess when it rains.

What is the cost of turning it into a maybe 3000-4000 sq feet turf field? Mostly trying to talk my husband out of it. It seems too permanent and this is a house we plan to retire in. Is it possible to remove easily?

Thanks!
