Small treats I’ve given this summer
-a Newmans Own “oreo” with a few Unreal chocolate balls.
-Annie’s Graham bunnies in birthday cake
-a zbar or a mini kind bar
-dried mango

If I’m going to give a treat I’d rather use a brand that’s organic and less artificial at least - no dyes/quality chocolate etc.

Packages? You send packages to day camp?

This us why age matters.
This would be fine for a 5yo.
My 11yo would not be impressed with raisins as her “ treat” peer pressure is real,

How old is your kid? Mine is in elem and wants what the other kids have.
I’ve been giving her 2 Oreos recently.

We do z bars and fruit leather. DC loves them and they get eaten every day

I give a couple cookies. I don’t deny my kids “fun” food, I just limit the quantity.

Z bars are lower in sugar. They have a few different flavors.

This is like posting and saying “I don’t have children.”

Homemade muffins, fruit bars (like That's it), the occasional fun size candy bar.

Mines happy with like 5m&ms or similar - they just want something fun to have in there and don't care if its a lot of it

dried mango slices, freeze dried strawberries, fruit leathers - all from Trader Joe's. And frankly - 90% of all cereal bars are just candy in disguise. Try 'Kind' bars.

For snack at camp, we pack fruit and one other thing. My kid wants a sweet and I don’t want something that has too much sugar. What do you pack for your kid as a “treat” or snack at camp?
