The Merriweather situation included flooding and spectators in water with electrical equipment.
Both of these examples show that these venues do not have the ability to handle inclement weather and communications. People were stuck tonight inside for quite some time with no information as to what was going on.
Or they show the effects of climate change and the fact that stadiums built 20+ years ago were not built for the amount of rain we get now.
