Yeah, that was my question really. My understanding is that first day is mostly running. My kid is coming off an injury from earlier in the summer and it’s not clear they will be back up to their regular speed. Wondering if there is a possibility they will get cut the first day. Rest of family is at the beach so if they get cut, we will try to join. For work reasons trying to figure out when that might be.

I went to a smaller HS and there were no tryouts: everyone who wanted to be on the team could be on it. But I see this is almost impossible if there are over a hundred students wanting to join. That’s unfortunate.
