My microwave, the 1-6 are all express buttons for 1-6 minutes. So I press "2" for 2 minutes, then the +30 second button once for 2:30.

My mistake. It thought it said cook for 3 minutes.

In this example, I just push 3 for express cook. The real problem seems to be something like 3 minutes 20 seconds. Nannies and family members alike don’t want to learn to press “cook time,” then 320, then start. They all push express cook 4 and count backwards.

I would just put it in for 2 minutes 30 seconds and go after a minute to flip or stir. Why are people hitting 30 seconds over and over?
