Georgia Tech
Wisconsin
Virginia
Northeastern
Howard
Wake Forest
Miami
Colgate
Wellesley
Michigan
NYU
Boston College
Dennison
Emory
UCSD

Ridiculous list. Total none-sense. Complete garbage.

Unfortunately, the same was true for USNWR rankings.

If you read the original post, it comes from Ivy wise. And the article itself lists changes in overall applications received and acceptance rate for each school. So there is a methodogy. But I guess you just want to be flippant.

The schools listed are all below Notre Dame. Notice it doesn’t also say duke, Vanderbilt Chicago, Northwestern, Stanford, etc..
Since this is a list of the hottest "new" schools enjoying higher selectivity, schools like Stanford and Duke have been highly selective for a long time (Chicago has only recently become much more selective).

Duke, Vandy And Northwestern were all on the 2018 alt Ivie list, the first time they did it.

Town and Country, in consultation with Ivywise, just published its 2023 list of “alt-Ivies,”schools that are experiencing dramatic increases in popularity and consequently, selectivity. Might be more accurate to just use the “hot schools” label. Behind a paywall, but here’s the list:

Georgia Tech
Wisconsin
Virginia
Northeastern
Howard
Wake Forest
Miami
Colgate
Wellesley
Michigan
NYU
Boston College
Dennison
Emory
UCSD
