Funny that you bumped this. I'm the OP and Pohanka put me on a super-long waitlist earlier this year. We must have been looking at different models. I never ended up with the hybrid.

We drove eight hours away to purchase a RAV4 hybrid in the color and trim we wanted for MSRP (no surcharge).

Just bought a Lexus NX350h in NJ with only a 2 week wait and with no markup. Lexus dealers in Central Jersey seem to be able to get hybrids.

Has anyone actually purchased a Lexus hybrid this year? We've been on a waitlist for a few months and it will still be awhile, from what I can tell. There are dealers in MD who claim they can get the car, but they put a 3-5K dealer charge on top of MSRP. I've been waiting for a vehicle to show up in VA, but I'm wondering where they all are going.
