This is a great book, but it's not even 300 pages and as you said is an "easy" read. The OP has a long plane ride. She'll be done with this book before the plane takes off.

I love Ken Follet books for plane rides, but I also have loved all of the Kristen Hannah books I've read so I don't think we have similar tastes.

How about Long Bright River by Liz Moore. It's a crime thriller for people who don't like that genre. For sure a "can't put down" type.

I was about the recommend The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah before getting to the end of your comment so take my recommendations with a grain of salt!

The Giver of Stars, by Jojo Moyes
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Taylor Jenkins Reid

A Gentleman in Moscow? It's a bit old now, but if you haven't already read already it it is good but easy to read.

I learned about the author Julie Clark here on DCUM - and I've read a couple of her books on planes.

In fact I was reading one of hers when a flight I was on got diverted from the airport where we were about to land because of scary weather, flew another hour to a different airport, then took us back to the original airport once the storm passed. The book held my attention through all of that!

I've read a few of her books now - this is the one I liked best: https://www.amazon.com/Lies-I-Tell-Novel-ebook/dp/B09HLF9RCT?ref_=ast_author_mpb

Help me pick a book for a long plane ride. I am looking for an easy read that you can't put down. I don't like dystopian, scien-fi. fantasy etc The last plane book I read was something by Kristen Hannah. I hate read it because it was so bad. But you get the idea....it was easy.
