Spin mop or scrubbing by hand with a sponge, here. I dump the bucket into the toilet but if you want to hoist it up to the sink I don't seen an issue. It's just harder. You clean the sink, right?

Yes. It goes through a water treatment plant. Solid waste is around for decades if not longer.

Splatter? Whatever splatter might occur, I’d rather it be on the rim of the toilet bowl than around my kitchen sink.

I use a spin mop system.

Swiffer (not swifter) is fine for quick cleanup but not a proper mopping.

I’m just learning that most people dump mop water in the toilet—but what about splatter?? I always dump in the kitchen sink. I use vinegar and water and I mop after I vacuum and the water is almost always pretty clear. Is this like cutting your nails in public?

What do you do?
