Really? I have found that if anything the negatives have been overstated. For most women it is completely safe. This hasn’t been the messaging over the past 10 years.

And furthermore, but not writing about the controversy, the NYT is committing a lie by omission. The author portrays Premarin as a miracle, downplaying or omitting the negatives. Crappy reporting, IMO.

It’s both a real and relevant focus for me. As a 48-year old lifelong equestrian and general animal lover, I would not take Premarin. Your response tells me a lot. My principals are worth something to me.

I have not finished the podcast yet but as someone with DCIS, I found it kind of frustrating that it seemed to totally ignore that not everyone can take hormones. I was totally planning to take hormones but now feel like I can't. There are a lot of people who have had DCIS or breast cancer so it is not like this is super rare. Apologies if this was later in the podcast and I missed it.

NP and I can't read the article behind the paywall, but the issues with horses are a real concern for me in considering treatment.

I can’t wait to watch GenX and older millennial women fully stay in the game over their middle and old age as they finally get treatment that helps symptoms.

There’s not much that’s more awesome than vigorous, confident, healthy older women.
