Children need to practice reading. Children with ADHD need to practice a skill 10x as much as an NT child - so it will take her longer to learn to read and to learn to enjoy reading.

I have moments like this. It can be so hard to understand why somebody isn't getting something. OP I suggest you do some research on ADHD, like watching Dr. Barkley's videos on YouTube. Just understanding why your kid struggles with something can be so helpful!
