I’ve made myself many times and also bought from SER.

It was certainly easier just to buy it.

At the small Spanish/Portuguese shop in Bethesda across from Butcher’s Alley and next door to the Bethesda Crab Housr. We buy them regularly for simple weekend meals and my husband is Spaniard so we have high standards Highly recommend!

Anita's Breakfast burrito?

We are talking about the tortillas made in Spain not the round, flat bread made in Mexico.

Taberna del Alabadero will do one. I am blanking on the name of their casual capital hill place, but it has a market with it that may already have them made? I'd look at their website or call them. They will basically do anything to go and have a great catering menu, too.
and speaking from experience, they are not easy to make! I have tried a few and they either come out awful, fall apart or just take forever to make and are so so. My friends in spain basically make them w/ their eyes shut and make it look easy. Either I am the worst cook ever, or they are not actually easy to make

Mark Bittman has an amazing recipe. Pain in the ass to make. Hopefully you find a good one. Check Spanish restaurants

Not sure if you can even buy them in the US, but steer clear of the pre-packaged heat n' serve spanish tortillas if you find them at the grocery store. Spain is currently dealing with a botulism outbreak with the pre-made kind of Spanish omelet

If you need a recipe, this classic Ferran Adrià recipe uses potato chips and is pretty good. personally i'd try to use pasteurized egg product since a lot of tortillas end up a bit runny in the middle

I can't recall seeing a whole one sold anywhere. They are easy to make if you are interested. If not, try calling some Spansih places and see if they will sell you a whole one. I like the tortilla at Taberna del Alabadero and La Bodega. I'd try there.
