Yes different quarries have different gravel. And prices will vary for gravel based on how far it has to travel to be sold, but if you are shopping local quarries you are probably fine. There is an angular pea gravel from Annapolis area I think that is light gray/white (cooler tones). The beige stuff you see a lot of is just Home Depot.

I think what you want is called 'river washed gravel'. It's cream-colored with hints of gold/tan. I had initially used river rock for a portion of my property, and they mistakenly delivered the river washed gravel when I wanted to continue building it out my project. It was stunning and, further, made the grey'ish river rock look stale/industrial in comparison. I converted it all. Best delivery mistake I've had.

Just starting a small landscaping project and the landscaper is sending me to a quarry to look at pea gravel. From the website, the pea gravel looks sort of grey, and I would prefer white/cream colors. Silly question but will different local quarries have different color gravel? Or is it all going to be similar because the local terrain is similar?

Trying to crowd source to save myself multiple quarry trips. If you have a place you recommend, please share. Thanks
