No, you don’t. I know many people in the top firms in your business and none of them - NONE - is making what you’re making at your age and only working 20-30 hours a week. You must be an absolute superstar to be the sole exception.

Find a niche. Be very good at it. But be even better about cultivating and maintaining relationships by treating people kindly and being genuinely helpful. Value yourself; don't let others determine your value.

PP adding my advice. Don't find a job, build your own job. If you have any sort of specified knowledge, capitalize on it. Be honest, responsive, transparent, friendly, error on the side of the client is right but not to the extreme, set realistic expectations and prices accordingly, network, stick your neck out to support others in the field, and you'll soon have word of mouth referrals coming in. Before you know it, you will have a well regarded business.

Early 30s, also in big law. $435k this year as 5th year associate. Learn to play the game. Politics matter in almost every environment. Be good at what you do, work hard, be fair, look out for those below you, and anticipate the needs of those above you.

I don't make my money by going to work. I make it in the market. I take extreme risks, but only because I can afford to lose some.
I worked very low income service job before that for ca 25 years.
Since you are young, I see why you want to make money by going to work. Become a doctor.
