I hate responses like this. *Obviously* they owe us nothing - and we’re not even trying to figure out the gender (not do I personally GAF). This is just a thread hypothesizing why a couple that very much courts attention would withhold something like gender, which is not typically a private matter. Of COURSE they’re entitled not to share it, that’s beside the point.

I think it’s a little odd, but it’s their family. At some point, refusing to say creates more buzz than just saying “yeah, we just had little Larlo last month”. It becomes a secret to ferret out, as this is kind of basic information that no one truly cares about, but it’s just basic conversation, so to speak. You never ever see the Clooney kids, for example, but they said they were twins, have the names, and that is that.

Didn’t they also keep their other kids gender from the public?

Maybe the child was born intersex and they haven't decided which way to go yet.

Don't know who these people are, but they are rightly exploiting your unhealthy curiosity by teasing a reveal in the future. The person you should be ashamed of is YOU, for wanting to know in the first place. If you left these people alone, they wouldn't tease you.

Yeah, I’m not certain, since we know the genders of their older kids. They don’t need to show their baby to the public but knowing their gender and even their name doesn’t seem like a big deal. But that’s just me.
