Very occasionally.

There was this one guy I had a brief relationship with back in college that I thought was the love of my life for the longest time. Every few years he'd pop into my head and I'd google him to see what he's been up to. It's very random.

I was thinking last night about how I wasted my college years dating the boy back home. I knew I wasn't going to marry him. I regret not exploring opportunities at school.

You must be thinking about them to know how they're doing now.

I think of many people I came across - elementary school friends and teachers, team mates, college friends, old boyfriends, old work mates, relatives who have passed. If you didn't, I think you'd be a goldfish.

Same. I wonder what it will be like for today's 20-somethings who will likely remain at least somewhat connected via social media to all these people that passed through their lives. Back when I was 20-something, it took real effort to stay connected to people.

I only dated guys with brains. We keep in touch.

OP - sparked by going to a HS reunion. Mind drifted after to college and my 20s and wondered if it was bizarre to look back so long ago?

I do. I text to one of them weekly. All above board.

I'm only 52, but yea, I still think about him which I find kind of weird. I know definitely that we are not compatible. Maybe it's just because the way we left things was so abrupt. I didn't have good closure. Sometimes he's in my dreams, but nothing sexual. The relationship did have a deep impact on me emotionally, though, so maybe that's why.

All I hear is that you're ugly and/or fat so you had to date nerds when you were young and then settle for a low iq/poor as an adult.

What a mean-spirited way to think of your past lovers!
