What are the cops going to do when a crime occurs in New Alexandria?

Quite the contrary. When something bad happened in Fairfax County/"Alexandria", they would refer to it as Alexandria (even though it wasn't Alexandria, it was Fairfax County). When something good happened in Fairfax County/"Alexandria", they would call it by its actual Fairfax County neighborhood name.

Fairfax county doesn't want to be associated with the high crime "City of Alexandria" area of Alexandria.

As a long time Alexandria City resident, I support this

FFX County police are going to commit to using more specific neighborhood names, instead of postal address, when identifying where crimes happen. Because there's a part of Fairfax County called Alexandria, and then there's Alexandria City, and the two are different locales.
