I don’t think you’ll get any flowers, but they’re such a great monarch stopover plant that it’s worth a try. Even easy plants sometimes have a bad batch of seed.

Tithonia are like zinnias, not fussy. I would seed again.

My tithonia still hasn’t emerged. Seeded it months ago. The ground seems warm enough for something to have happened by now. Is it too late to start now? I tend to direct seed. Would need to order, but ok with that. They are my favorite flowers and have attracted more butterflies and hummingbirds than anything else in the past.

I mean full disclosure I’m going to plant more anyway, looking for the experience of others here with this plant.
