This is approximately what we do with our preschoolers as well. And more or less how their summer camp has been operating this summer. Indoor play only on Code Red days. Limited outdoor play in the mornings on Code Orange days.

Between 150 and 200, I start thinking twice about it.
We lived in an air polluted country for a number of years and that was our standard then, as well.

Normal activity today, though we run filters in the house. I limit activities on red days but have sent to camp in the past if camp has a plan for adapting.
