This.
That said, I'll share mine (I'm 42 and starting paying a lot of attention to skin care at 40 and I have to say my skin is looking great.)
Night:
oil cleanser, scrub off with a washcloth (I use LUSH Ultrabland)
mild cleanser washed with water to get everything else (Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing gel)
Paula's Choice BHA exfoliant everywhere
spot treat with Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA treatment (on my jawline where I would sometimes break out)
Retinol
Clinique Dramatically Different Mouisturizer
Kielhs Avocado Eye cream under eyes.
Morning:
Wash with water
Apply physical SPF
This works for me. In the past ive experimented with vitamin c, with other serums with "actives" and they all made me break out. This regimen makes my skin look smooth and young and healthy. Retinol and SPF made the most dramatic difference, once I started using them.
