If you want some good quality linen pieces, try Bryn Walker. Made in the USA so the sizes are not super small.

The styles/cuts may not be for everyone but are very forgiving of the middle-age or older figure.

I've got some of their linen basics and they have held up well over several years.

I have absolutely no idea if it’s actually “sustainable” but I have some nice shirts from Amour Vert.

Vince? Some of it is weird and they’re doing that horrible, horrible 90’s slip skirt thing but the basic pieces I have are nice quality.

This same thing happened to me with Boden. I think they changed both for cost cutting reasons and also because they are trying to use more sustainable fabrics - at least that's how they market it.

I had the same response to a recent purchase from a similar brand—fabric was much thinner than usual. I wonder if it’s reverberations of supply chain issues.

Talbots was my go-to, but the fabrics are so thin lately. Are there any good quality brands for the 50+ crowd that have more substantial fabric?
