For most women devoid of an actual skin condition, it really does not matter, because make-up or no make-up, people see the figure, the hair, facial features, posture, attitude... and those create so much more of an impression than whether you have a slightly more dewy look, or whether your pores are slightly obscured, or whether your eyelashes are darker, or whatever else you think you're doing with your make-up. No one's looking that closely at your face! It's not saving the rest of you.
Apologies if I offend, but it's the truth. I hope it's liberating to hear, because you really shouldn't be that dependent on chemicals you slap on your face every day.
