I have a washable lorena canals rug in my kitchen. Sometimes food/drink has been spilled on it, but after washing it always looks brand new.

I love these rugs. No rug pad necessary because they have a latex backing. I have washed them in the washing machine, and they come out great. I had a bad experience with Ruggables curling up on the ends.

Yes, we have two Persian wool runners with rug pads. They've held up very well and the pattern hides lots.

Does anyone have a rug in their kitchen? I have a very white kitchen and want to inject some color and texture, but I imagine a kitchen rug would get beat up with water dripping and food spills? Has that been an issue for you? I would potentially center it between my sink and oven, which are on opposite walls. Feedback, recommendations welcome!
