Very disappointing to learn that someone is just here complain-bragging about how something she ordered doesn't meet her elevated standards.

Much less the PP bragging about how superior she is because she hasn’t been to a restaurant in 3 and a half years, but still feels her input is necessary on a thread about restaurants. Lol!

+1

I never understand posters like that. No added value whatsoever.

Agree. Thai and Indian takeout is my favorite.

I love take out.

Get tacos from a truck though.

You have to choose your takeout wisely. Chinese food, pizza, soups are things that have stood the test of time and are good carry out items. When we order tacos it’s family style where we assemble them at home.

I haven't eaten at a restaurant or eaten take out since feb 2020 and I don't miss it at all. I hear nothing but bad stories about food poisoning, one server for the whole restaurant, inflated charges, made up "restaurant recovery" charges, horrible service, bad food, how overpriced it currently is. No interest in it at all. I can cook better, fresher food at home.

Do you mean take out or delivery?
If truly take out, then you’re the one throwing it around in the box and taking an hour to get home.
Are you driving back over the mountains in a dune buggy?

And… you have nothing better to do than post this?

Brisket tacos sound revolting. The won ton soup I had delivered was excellent. Sorry you made a bad choice.

I ordered brisket tacos to go from a place I love -- and they were awful. Rubbery, tossed around in the box till they were unrecognizable, and, of course, stone cold.

Why does anyone get take out? It's always a disappointment.

If I want to eat restaurant food, I'm going to a restaurant. No more pretending I can get a restaurant experience an hour later at home.
