My toddler is on the waitlist at CYC next year, and I'd been told that chances of her getting in were slim because neither spouse nor I have a university affiliation. But, by random luck, I was just offered a part time job at UMD. This would drastically improve her chances of getting in, though nothing is certain.

Interested in hearing folks' experiences with CYC. I'm trying to decide between two job offers right now. The non-UMD one might be a slightly better fit for me personally, but if people absolutely love CYC for their kids, it might tip my hat in favor of the UMD job. Our daycare experiences so far have been a real crapshoot and I'd love the peace of mind of feeling great about daughter's early schooling for the next three years.
