Parents might know the wait list trends for the school that you are interested in. We are at Fox Mill and normally everyone on the wait list is accepted into the program. It is not unusual for in-boundary parents to remove their child from the program just before school starts, which opens seats. We know a few families who moved to Gen Ed the day of the Open House. The First Grade LA teacher is known to be very strict in the JI program which causes some parents concerns.

I think what this means is: Let’s say a school has open seats remaining for in-boundary students but none for out-of-boundary. As of July 10, they would start offering those open seats to out-of-boundary students if no other in-boundary students have come forward.

I saw that on 7/10 they were opening all open seats regardless of original seat status. However, don't see any seat status updates on the website. Did anyone get into immersion on the 10th?
